Good Monday, everybody. Our new work week is off and running on a very mild note as we wait for another shower and storm maker late today. This kicks off a very active weather pattern that skews milder than normal and… Wait for it… Wait for it… wetter than normal.

Clouds are on the increase today with showers and a few storms moving into western Kentucky this afternoon. This action will then overspread the rest of the state tonight into early Tuesday.

Here are your radars to focus on the stuff coming in from the west…

From here, we are in a pattern that looks to deliver showers and storms every couple of days. No, this does not mean we are going to have rain on every single day, but there will be no shortage of systems to track. Rainfall numbers for the next week and change may be up there…

The European Ensembles for the next 2 weeks show just how much real estate looks stormier than normal and wetter than normal…

That’s the look of a very active spring storm pattern!

I will offer up another update later today. Until then. make it a good one and take care.
