Good Friday, everyone. We have a potent cold front sweeping across the state, bringing another line of showers and storms across the east. A few of these could still be strong. The air coming in behind this for the weekend looks much better, but there is an increasing risk for showers late Sunday into Monday.

The line of storms along our evening front may have high winds and hail across the eastern half of the state. Temps ahead of this are in the 70s, but come crashing down through tonight.

Readings by Saturday morning can reach the freezing mark or below. The rest of the day looks good with a mix of sun and clouds and temps ranging from the upper 40s to middle 50s.

Sunday starts cold and ends with clouds increasing ahead of another wet weather maker. Showers work in later in the day and take us through Monday…

As that exits, a stronger system looks to bring heavy rain and a few strong storms in here for late Tuesday and Wednesday…

Temps behind this will warm deep into the 70s for the second half of the week. More storms will likely fire as well.

Here are your tracking toys for the remainder of the day…
