Good Saturday, gang. It’s a MUCH better weather day taking shape across the region as cooler, but drier air blows in. This nice day is ahead of another wet weather maker rolling in late Sunday, kicking off another very active weather setup through next week. That’s a setup that can lead to more strong storms and heavy rains.

Our Saturday starts off on a cold note with temps around or below the freezing mark. A mix of sun and clouds will be noted this afternoon with temps ranging from the middle 40s to the middle 50s. It’s all about where you live.

Much of the daylight hours on Sunday are dry with temps in the 50s. Clouds will increase as another system moves in from the southwest. This brings rain into the region from late afternoon and into the evening. That wet weather maker kicks into high gear Sunday night into Monday…

The system that follows that up by later Tuesday and Wednesday will be more potent and should produce heavy rain and a few strong storms…

Temps behind this soar deep into the 70s for the second half of the week. That’s when we have to be on guard for a severe weather signal from the plains states into the Ohio Valley. This is a healthy trough ejecting out of the west during this time…

I will throw you another update later today. Make it a good one and take care.
