Good Tuesday, folks. We have another storm system rolling from west to east across the state today. This is bringing more rounds of heavy rain and could fire off a few strong storms in the west. As the week wears on, temps soar to reading more typical of May. Oh yeah… Some more storms creep back in. 🙁

Rounds of showers and storms return from west to east  today, with the greatest concentration coming this afternoon and evening.

Heavy rainfall is a good bet, with local 1″ amounts possibly causing local high water concerns. The threat for strong storms is greatest across the west and south. Here’s the current Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…

This action moves away quickly Wednesday morning with partly sunny skies taking over. Highs reach the 60s. Temps behind this will REALLY ramp up with 70s for Thursday and Friday. Local 80 degree temps are a possibility.

This is ahead of a potent cold front bringing scattered storms Friday, with more widespread stuff late Saturday…

I will have another update later today, until then, here are your Tuesday tracking toys…
