Good Sunday, everybody. It’s another day of summertime temps and humidity levels as we watch more storms go up. This is sign of the early summer pattern we are in for the Memorial Day Weekend and the final week of May. A little fight is brewing for early June, though.

Storms rolled across the region last evening, putting down a ton of rain in a short amount of time and causing wind issues. That’s the calling card of any storm that goes up out there today, too.

Your Sunday storm tracking tools look a little something like this…

The setup for Memorial Day is pretty much the same with steam temps deep into the 80s and a few storms rumbling through here. That setup remains the same for the rest of next week and through the last day of May on Saturday…

Any one day may feature strong storms, but we will really need to watch the front moving in late next week. That one may be pretty active as we get set to close out June.

Just how cool is the air behind that front? That’s still up in the air, but the GFS has been showing a much cooler than normal pattern into the first week of the month…

I’m not sold on it being that cool, but the past few months certainly argue that something like that is possible.

Have a great Sunday and take care.
