Good afternoon everyone. Our winter storm continues to blast the bluegrass state. Blizzard conditions swept across parts of western Kentucky overnight and early this morning. Thundersnow was reported earlier today in northern Kentucky as thunderstorms were booming across the south and southeast.

The snow line is crashing eastward across the state this afternoon and that means a messy evening commute for many. Snow accumulations across central and eastern Kentucky will range from a coating to up to 3″. For that reason… A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted:

Warnings

The big doughnut hole across northeastern Kentucky is brought to you by the good folks at the National Weather Service out of Charleston, WV.

Snow showers and squalls will kick in tonight and carry us into early Thursday and roads will likely be slick during this time.

Keep posting the weather where you live and I will have updates as needed. Take care.
