Good Friday evening, gang. Another clipper is on the way to the state as we roll into the weekend. This one will deliver a band of light snow and gusty winds from late Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. Here’s a look at how much snow may fall…

SpecialGusty winds will blow the snow around and we are likely to see slick spots develop on area roads.

Next week will feature more systems diving in from the northwest and these will begin to unleash bitterly cold air. Highs in the teens with lows that could approach 0 in some areas will be a good bet for the middle and end of the week.

Keep an eye on next weekend for the potential of a full blown storm system developing ahead of a bigger blast of arctic air. Look at what the GFS is pulling down behind that…

GFSA prolonged period of harsh weather is beginning across much of the country.

Enjoy your evening and take care.
