Good evening. It’s been a very active weather day across Kentucky with waves of strong and severe thunderstorms rolling through. Flooding rains have also caused a lot of issues and much of the state is under a Flood Watch into early Friday.
Western Kentucky is under a TORNADO WATCH until 4am CDT. I have you set to track the severe weather…
Today’s Risk Area
Current Watches
Take care.
SPC has in this particular Tornado Watch a “High” probability of tornadoes (any twister from EF0 and up). A “Moderate” probability of EF2-EF5 twisters. Perhaps a shade or two below that of a “PDS” (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Tornado Watch.

Folks, please keep your weather alert radios and other early warning devices ready and in good working order. Nighttime tornadoes are nothing to mess with.
Thankfully its been very uneventful here and looks to remain that way
Nasty little rouge cell heading up the BG Parkway now.
This may turn into more of a flooding event then a tornado or severe thunderstorm event tonight, not alot of tornado warnings to the west!
