Good Sunday, everyone. Our Saturday was as wild as advertised with high winds and severe thunderstorms sweeping across Kentucky. As the storm continues to pull away, it’s a much colder wind blowing out there today.

This wind has a chance to spit out a few snow flurries across parts of the region. The greatest threat should be across the east. The Hi Res NAM shows the flake potential on a strong northwesterly wind flow…

A few flakes, people. That’s it. 😉

Here’s regional radar to see what’s out there…

Gusty winds will make it feel like the 20s for much of the day, with wind chills in the teens showing up for some tonight into early Monday.

Thanksgiving week looks colder than normal with another front dropping in here on Tuesday. That continues to look mainly dry with a seasonal brand of cold behind it. Watch how the trough splits, allowing for a big eastern Gulf low to develop…

What happens with that system in the southeast could complicate the model forecasts in the coming days.

Temps bounce back for a day or so by Friday, ahead of the next cold air surge coming in here over the weekend. Here’s the European Model…

The European Ensembles also look frigid across much of the eastern half of the country…

I will update everything later on today. Enjoy your Sunday and take care.
