Good evening, folks. We are putting the wraps on a very Kentucky-like weather day. Many of us woke up to another accumulating spring snow, but it was all gone by the afternoon with temps closing in on 50. As we look forward, we are getting ready for a big temps surge and the potential for severe storms.

Before that, we have one more little system to dive in here on Tuesday. This may produce a shower or two, with temps still running on the chilly side. Lots of upper 40s and low 50s will show up.

Wednesday starts our warm up, with highs hitting the 60s. Thursday and Friday will give you a full-blown case of spring fever as highs hit the 70s. 80 degrees is possible by Friday on a strong southwesterly wind.

A powerful plains storm system slowly heads our way later Friday into the weekend, bringing the potential for strong to severe storms, and heavy rains…

Much colder air comes back in behind this for the rest of the weekend…

Additional systems will then roll our way through the rest of the month, bringing the chance for more big storms and cold shots.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and take care.
