Good evening, folks. We are putting the wraps on windy, but better overall weather day across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The gusty winds will turn much warmer for Wednesday, then turn cold again on Thursday. That’s right, winds are coming from every direction over the next few days. 🙂

A warm front lifts northward across the state late tonight and early Wednesday. That could produce a very light shower or some sprinkles, but it will unleash a spike in temps. Highs on Wednesday will likely surge deep into the 70s…

Temps slowly rebound from Friday into Saturday and may get closer to normal. Our weekend system continues to trend much farther to the south and may not have much of a wet weather impact on our region. If that’s the case, our temps may be within the normal range into early next week.

Still, the setup through the end of the month is skewed colder than normal overall. The CFS through April 3oth…

It’s interesting to note how the model is trying to flip a warmer switch for the month of May…
