Good evening, folks. A cold front is working across the state, bringing another shot of chilly temps for the next few days. Even as temps moderate some for the weekend, the numbers remain colder than normal. I’m also watching a southern storm system that may impact our weather.

The front moving through this evening has a broken band of showers and storms with it…

Winds are very gusty along and behind the front, as temps crash deep into the 30s tonight. That northwesterly wind has a chance to throw a few sprinkles or snowflakes our way early tomorrow…

Temps by Thursday afternoon may not get out of the 40s across the eastern half of the state, with 50s showing up in the west.

Friday starts with another had freeze…

The rest of Friday looks good with some sunshine and temps warming into the upper 50s to low 60s. Saturday looks similar as clouds begin to filter back in here, ahead of a slow-moving storm system rolling to our south. This looks to get close enough to throw some rain our way by later Sunday and Monday…

Watch how a system digs in from the northwest and captures that system, lifting it northward along the east coast. That is another colder than normal pattern setting up shop on our region.Sigh.

Make it a great evening and take care.
