Good Tuesday, folks. As hard as it is to believe, Today is the final day of July and we continue our run of cooler than normal temps. Unfortunately, the nice temps are being accompanied by more rounds of showers and storms.
Today’s storms won’t be as strong as the action we had on Monday, but a few strong storms are still possible. Still, some locally heavy rains will be possible, especially in the central and east…
Temps may struggle to get out of the 70s for many areas.
Similar conditions should be noted on Wednesday as our stubborn system continues to impact the region.
Later this week into the weekend, we have the continued threat for a few showers and storms…
This should keep the cooler than normal numbers going for a while longer.
I do see a temp spike coming for a few days next week…Once that swings through, watch for another round of cooler than normal air to dive back into the bluegrass state with more showers and storms…
Rain totals over the next few weeks keep looking very impressive…
Have a terrific Tuesday and take care.
I used to have satellite view of the storm chasers map but lately it is road map view. Is there a way to change it back to Satellite so that I can zoom in and and know where a storm is at with greater accuracy? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What happened to first defender?
Just saw NOAA issued a very early Autumn and Winter forecast. Much warmer than normal during the whole six month period pretty much country wide. And much drier in our area for the last three Winter months. Could be another long boring Winter. I hope not.
