Good Wednesday, folks. We have a potentially active weather day taking shape across much of our region as a cold front works in from the north and northwest. This could lead to a solid round of strong and severe storms from late this afternoon into the evening.<\/p>\n

Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:<\/p>\n

– Windy and warm weather will continue ahead of the front with readings in the 80-85 degree range. Gusts of 35mph will be possible.<\/p>\n

– A line of strong to severe storms will develop to our north and northwest later in the afternoon. This line will then dive into Kentucky by late this afternoon into the evening.<\/p>\n

– This has the look of a damaging wind maker and that’s the primary threat. Large hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible.<\/p>\n

– The prime time for severe storms looks to be between 5pm and 11pm.<\/p>\n
