Bitterly cold November temps continue across the bluegrass state today. It&#8217;s every bit as cold as advertised with wind chills in the single digits this afternoon. There&#8217;s a lot of random floating around in my mind, so let&#8217;s get on with some rambling and random thoughts:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The current\u00a0snow cover shows up nicely on a visible satellite&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Snow-Cover.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11875\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Snow-Cover.png\" alt=\"Snow Cover\" width=\"510\" height=\"390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Snow-Cover.png 510w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Snow-Cover-300x229.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Henderson hit 2 degrees for a low this morning&#8230; 2.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; I mentioned yesterday this today would be the coldest November day since 1976. Today, the folks at WeatherBell released data showing today the coldest November morning in the U.S. since&#8230; 1976.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Temps today are brutal. Did you even need me to tell you that? Nevermind.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11877\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Cold.gif\" alt=\"Cold\" width=\"380\" height=\"158\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Anther arctic front slides in Wednesday night with a band of light snow and flurries. Light accumulations will be possible with Thursday very cold&#8230; again.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Watch for a touch of frozen precipitation late Friday into Saturday morning as milder air fights in.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; This isn&#8217;t a nice mild up&#8230; it will come with a lot of rain, wind and even some thunder.
