Merry Christmas, everyone. I want to start out by wishing you nothing short of the greatest Christmas of all time. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a sucker for this time of year. I love everything about Christmas and hate to see it go.<\/p>\n

In terms of the weather… nothing has changed with where we go from here. Some morning snow flurries will give way to afternoon clearing with temps in the upper 30s and low 40s.<\/p>\n

Current temperatures<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday looks great for travelling with more sun and pleasant temps. Saturday will be a day of change with increasing clouds and rain developing from west to east. That rain carries us into Sunday as colder air filters in.\u00a0 That cold air has a chance to switch the rain over to a mix or some light snow at some point Sunday night or Monday.<\/p>\n

The new version of the GFS is showing this possibility…<\/p>\n

The Canadian Model is in general agreement with a switch to snow on more of a grander scale…<\/p>\n

The models then bring much colder air in here for the closing days of 2014 and the start of a brand new year. It’s a pattern that should feature a couple more southern stream systems getting involved later in the week.<\/p>\n
