It&#8217;s another ugly and messy day in the bluegrass state as temps get ready to take a tumble. That drop in thermometers will lead to an increasing possibility of some light wintry weather this evening into early Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The new version of the GFS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/GFS12.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12908\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/GFS12.png\" alt=\"GFS\" width=\"477\" height=\"649\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/GFS12.png 477w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/GFS12-220x300.png 220w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With wet roads and a quick temperature drop from northwest to southeast, we have to be on guard for icy spots to develop. Another cold front knocks temps back down by Sunday and that sets the stage for the colder air to return in stages next week.
