A streak of light snow and flurries will zip across the state late tonight into early Thursday and this could drop a small accumulation. The best chance of seeing this band of snow is across the southern half of the region&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/SPECIAL.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12954\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/SPECIAL.png\" alt=\"SPECIAL\" width=\"927\" height=\"473\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/SPECIAL.png 927w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/SPECIAL-300x153.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 927px) 100vw, 927px\" \/><\/a>Again, that does not mean you&#8217;re going to see snow on your lawn tomorrow, but it does mean there&#8217;s a chance of a light accumulation for some. That may be just enough to cause some slick spots to develop on area roads.<\/p>\n<p>Better weather rolls in for Friday and Saturday before another cold front arrives early Sunday. The European Model is back to showing a little more action with that&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Euro5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12957\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Euro5.png\" alt=\"Euro\" width=\"353\" height=\"926\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Euro5.png 353w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Euro5-114x300.png 114w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 353px) 100vw, 353px\" \/><\/a>Colder winds will blow as temps drop throughout the day with snow showers taking over. Right now, I still don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s a huge deal, but we will keep watching it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The cold keeps showing up and it&#8217;s showing up in a big, big way later next week and beyond.
