This is a history making weather week across the commonwealth of Kentucky. Several days ago, I said this week may come up just short of producing the history making stuff from\u00a0January, 1994. This week now looks to be on par with what happened back then.<\/p>\n<p>Snow moves in tonight and Wednesday and will put down widespread accumulations&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Special-22.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13586\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Special-22.png\" alt=\"Special 2\" width=\"636\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Special-22.png 636w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Special-22-300x188.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 636px) 100vw, 636px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Locally higher amounts will be possible as a potent arctic system works through here. Winds will be very gusty with blowing and drifting snow a good bet. Temps tomorrow will stay in the teens.<\/p>\n<p>History making cold is likely for Thursday and Friday. I firmly believe we have a shot at monthly and all time record lows by Friday.
