Good Saturday, everyone. Our complicated winter storm continues to roll across Kentucky today with snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain. The thermal profiles are all over the place and that makes things even harder to pinpoint. All I know is this system has a ton of moisture with it, so some hefty totals of each precipitation type will show up.<\/p>\n

The storm isn’t a strong one, but it has some potent dynamics swinging across the state early today. Every model known to man is showing dynamic cooling taking place, resulting in a swatch of heavy snows. They all differ on where that takes place, but they all have it. That may even occur after temps rise into the 30s.<\/p>\n

It’s been a long week and I pretty much despise this storm for a number of reasons, so I’m going to just let you track it. I will have updates as needed today and via twitter as long as I can stay awake. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
