Good afternoon, gang. My time is very limited as we are dealing with flooding across many areas of the state. The transition to sleet and snow is taking place across western and northern parts of the state and that sweeps across the rest of the state later today.<\/p>\n

First things first… respect the high water! Keep a very close eye on water levels where you are and NEVER attempt to drive through a flooded roadway. TURN AROUND DON’T DROWN!!<\/p>\n

I have no substantial changes to my thoughts on the sleet and snow forecasts…<\/p>\n

\"Special<\/a><\/p>\n

This will be a thumping snow for much of the\u00a0region and it’s one that could cause power issues before all is\u00a0said and done. The heaviest snow develops this evening and carries us into Thursday\u00a0morning. Thunder is very possible!<\/p>\n

I will\u00a0have a\u00a0Last Call For Snowfall\u00a0on WKYT-TV starting at 4pm. We will also have continuing team coverage of this major winter storm\u00a0and flooding\u00a0as long as it takes.\u00a0Yes, I’m\u00a0packing a bag for work tonight. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
