Our first round of heavy rain is rolling across the state today and could produce enough rain to cause high water issues. This overall setup has a rather threatening look to it through the upcoming weekend. Beyond that&#8230; winter tries to fight back in. Yay?!<\/p>\n<p>Heavy rainfall will add up today through Wednesday with 1&#8243;-3&#8243; of rain in many areas. This could lead to additional high water issues along creeks and streams that are feeding into already swollen rivers.\u00a0 You may even hear some thunder. I will have your tracking tools in a bit.<\/p>\n<p>The next round of heavy rain and thunder rolls in late Thursday into Friday. That can drop another 1&#8243;-3&#8243; of rain across our region. This is when we will have to also keep a very close eye on our rivers, because they will really be on the rise again.<\/p>\n<p>I continue to maintain winter is not over and the longer range models show this well.
