While it is a new week&#8230; the weather is going to be looking a whole like&nbsp;like the past several weeks&nbsp;as showers and&nbsp;thunderstorms return. At least we had a great weather weekend! <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/emoticons\/smile.png\" border=\"0\" \/><BR><BR>The pattern this week goes right back to the same old, same old with a front stalling out from west to east across the region. Several waves of low pressure will be riding along this boundary leading to scattered&nbsp;showers and storms that will become more concentrated at times toward the middle and end of the week.&nbsp;<BR><BR>Here is the setup I am talking about&#8230;<BR><BR><IMG src=\"http:\/\/images.quickblogcast.com\/0\/4\/8\/0\/3\/139967-130840\/Special_Forecast_Again_Again.jpg\"><BR><BR>This type of a pattern can lead to some very heavy rain totals this week and that is something&nbsp; we could do without. This has been a very wet past 6 weeks across the area so the high water threat MAY be with us again. There is also the threat for some strong storms this week as well.<BR><BR>Scattered showers and storms will get going out there today and you can track them here&#8230;<BR><BR><A href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\" s_oc=\"null\"><IMG class=radar_img_6x4 src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" useMap=#largemap><\/A><BR><BR>While an isolated severe storm could certainly develop&#8230; the greatest threat for severe storms will be to our west today&#8230;<BR><BR><A href=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/products\/\"><IMG alt=\"SPC Products Overview\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/products\/activity_loop.gif\" width=582 height=408><\/A><BR><BR>I will update and tweet as needed so make sure you check back.
