<\/p>\nGood Tuesday, everyone. It’s another stormy week here in the bluegrass state and that likely spells trouble. Additional rounds of thunderstorms could lead to a renewed high water threat before all is said and done. Those same storms could also pack a severe punch later in the week.<\/p>\n
Some thoughts before we hook you up for some tracking:<\/p>\n
– The showers and storms out there today could be strong, but widespread severe weather isn’t likely. Heavy rain will be the main concern as some areas could pick up 1″+. It won’t take much to cause some local high water issues.<\/p>\n
– Temps really take off for Wednesday and Thursday and could hit 80 degrees.<\/p>\n
– Humidity levels really increase and that only adds to the amount of moisture for these storms to tap.<\/p>\n
– Clusters of storms will continue to be possible on Wednesday. We have a slightly better chance of seeing some strong storms during this time.<\/p>\n
– The greatest chance for severe weather continues to look like it comes Thursday into Friday. This could be a significant outbreak from the plains states into the Ohio Valley. The exact impact on our weather remains to be seen, but you should stay alert.<\/p>\n
– Slightly cooler and drier weather moves in for the weekend. Another round of storms should follow that up early next week.<\/p>\n
