A major flood event continues to unfold across parts of southern and southeastern Kentucky. The flood reports coming out of some counties is staggering. Homes being washed away&#8230; major roads with feet of water covering them. All in all, this is the worst bout of flooding to strike many areas since the devastating floods of Memorial Day weekend of 2004.<BR><BR>Here is a look at the latest warnings&#8230;<BR><BR><IMG src=\"http:\/\/images.quickblogcast.com\/0\/4\/8\/0\/3\/139967-130840\/KyWarning16.jpg\"><BR><BR>Rain and storms moved over the same areas Friday afternoon into very early this morning. This is known as training and that shows up quite nicely on our radar total precipitation map&#8230;<BR><BR><IMG src=\"http:\/\/images.quickblogcast.com\/0\/4\/8\/0\/3\/139967-130840\/Kentucky_Special9.jpg\"><BR><BR>Those amounts were falling on top of a saturated ground still waterlogged from flooding earlier in the week. We may not be done with the rains just yet as our front is VERY slowly working to the south into Tennessee. Waves of showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to roll eastward along the front. FLOODING ALSO REPORTED NEAR<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; MCVEIGH.<BR><BR>0630 AM&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; FLASH FLOOD&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 3 W JACKSON&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 37.56N 83.43W<BR>05\/09\/2009&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; BREATHITT&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; KY&nbsp;&nbsp; LAW ENFORCEMENT<BR><BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SIX TO SEVEN FEET OF WATER OVER KY HIGHWAY 30. KY HIGHWAY 30 EAST AND WEST OF TOWN IS<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; CLOSED. CATHEDRAL DOMAIN ROAD IS FLOODED. SPENCER RIDGE<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; HILL IS UNPASSABLE. BUFALO ZION ROAD IS UNPASSABLE.
