Rounds of severe\u00a0thunderstorms that blasted the bluegrass state on Monday are\u00a0well to our east, but that doesn&#8217;t mean we can&#8217;t sneak out a scattered storm or two today.\u00a0After today, steamy days are ready to set up shop around here and could be joined by more storms.<\/p>\n<p>Highs will generally run in the low 80s for much of the state under a partly sunny sky. We have to keep an eye out for a storm or two trying to pop&#8230; especially across the south.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" usemap=\"#largemap\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Temps begin to steam up on Wednesday with mid and upper 80s setting up shop. There will be a small thunderstorm threat in the north.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday and Friday should feature a lot of upper 80s with a 90 here or there. Humidity levels will also increase as our flow comes from the southwest&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14665\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-21.png\" alt=\"Euro 2\" width=\"450\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-21.png 450w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-21-300x270.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a very warm and humid setup that should be able to fire off rounds of scattered showers and storms. The European Model&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14666\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro3.png\" alt=\"Euro\" width=\"663\" height=\"880\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro3.png 663w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro3-226x300.png 226w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 663px) 100vw, 663px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The same model then develops some pretty good heat across the south and southeast into early next week. Check out this heat ridge showing up&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-32.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14667\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-32.png\" alt=\"Euro 3\" width=\"615\" height=\"436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-32.png 615w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Euro-32-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Upper 80s to low 90s will be likely on days featuring full sun.
