Good Wednesday, folks. It’s another day of tracking thunderstorms and the potential for flash flooding. Torrential rains will continue to fall across much of the region, and with a soaked ground, it won’t take much to cause high water issues. Stop me if you’ve heard that one before!<\/p>\n

Scattered showers and storms will also be around on Thursday and Friday with highs in the 80s. Locally heavy downpours will be possible, again.<\/p>\n

The weekend will likely feature a surge of very steamy temps as humidity levels go wild. High heat index values will have to be watched. Scattered storms will still be possible.<\/p>\n

The setup changes late Sunday into early next week as a trough digs in across the eastern part of the country. That’s not a good thing because it likely means we get back into some big clusters of heavy rain producing showers and storms…<\/p>\n
