Severe thunderstorms are likely across Kentucky today and those storms are getting off to an early start as A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is out for western and central Kentucky until 10am. Here is the county outline&#8230;<BR><BR><A href=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/products\/watch\/ww0129_overview_big_wou.gif\"><IMG height=460 alt=\"WW0129 WOU\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/products\/watch\/ww0129_overview_wou.gif\" width=525><\/A><BR><BR>The latest warnings..<BR><BR><A href=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/products\/watch\/ww0129_warnings.gif\"><IMG height=460 alt=\"WW0129 Warnings\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/products\/watch\/ww0129_warnings_resize.gif\" width=525><\/A><BR><BR>This squall line will contain damaging winds and large hail as it races eastward. I will be curious to see just how far east this thing can get before it weakens out. <BR><BR>We will have to be on guard for another chance for severe storms later this afternoon and evening across central and eastern Kentucky. That will especially be the case if we can get some sunshine today.
