The threat for severe weather will be with us later this afternoon into the evening hours across much of the state. I will have numerous updates through the day so I will just hit the high points with this update.<BR><BR>Showers and some thunderstorms will roll northeastward across our region today as a warm front swings through. You can track the rains with the radar&#8230;<BR><BR><A href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;zipcode=40509&amp;level=state&amp;site=ky_&amp;anim=#\" s_oc=\"null\"><IMG class=radar_img_6x4 src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmSIRKY_.gif\" useMap=#largemap><\/A><BR><BR>Some locally heavy rains will again be noted with this first batch. Skies will try to clear out once the warm front is to our north. Low pressure will be sliding to our west during the day and will drag a front through here later tonight. Ahead of this front&#8230; warm, unstable air will flow into the area leading to the likely development of a squall line of storms. Some could be severe.
