I appreciate it more than you know and I am sure your fellow bloggers agree.<BR><BR>The heavy snow band I blogged about earlier in the day has taken shape and it is turning out to be a thumper. Snowfall of 1&#8243;-3&#8243; will be common across much of central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours. Local amounts can hit 4&#8243; under the heaviest snow bands. Here is the radar&#8230;<BR><BR><IMG class=radar_img_6x4 height=433 src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmSIRKY_.gif\" width=579 useMap=#largemap><BR><BR>Our buddy MJ has put out a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for much of central Kentucky&#8230;.<BR><BR>FAYETTE KY-BOURBON KY-NICHOLAS KY-JESSAMINE KY-CLARK KY-<BR>GARRARD KY-MADISON KY-CASEY KY-LINCOLN KY-ADAIR KY-RUSSELL KY-<BR>CUMBERLAND KY-CLINTON KY-<BR>INCLUDING THE CITIES OF&#8230;LEXINGTON&#8230;PARIS&#8230;CARLISLE&#8230;<BR>NICHOLASVILLE&#8230;WINCHESTER&#8230;LANCASTER&#8230;RICHMOND&#8230;LIBERTY&#8230;<BR>STANFORD&#8230;COLUMBIA&#8230;JAMESTOWN&#8230;BURKESVILLE&#8230;ALBANY<BR>818 PM EST THU DEC 11 2008 \/718 PM CST THU DEC 11 2008\/<BR><BR>&#8230;WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST \/6 AM CST\/<BR>FRIDAY&#8230;<BR><BR>THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER<BR>WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW&#8230;WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST \/6 AM<BR>CST\/ FRIDAY.<BR><BR>LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA<BR>TONIGHT AND WILL DIMINISH LATE TONIGHT. MOST LOCATIONS WILL SEE<BR>AROUND ONE INCH OF ACCUMULATION&#8230;BUT SOME ISOLATED SPOTS MAY SEE<BR>UP TO TWO INCHES OF ACCUMULATIONS. THIS SNOWFALL COMBINED WITH<BR>PREVIOUSLY WET ROADS AND TEMPERATURES FALLING BELOW FREEZING WILL<BR>LEAD TO HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS OVERNIGHT.<BR><BR>A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW<BR>WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES.
