We continue to see scattered showers of rain, sleet and snow across parts of central and eastern Kentucky. As temps drop this evening into the wee hours of the morning, a rooftop coating is possible in a few areas.<\/p>\n<p>Your radars to track the action&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=dlFZs5IY4VCw7bK\" width=\"560\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Better weather carries us into the weekend before another system impacts our weather by Monday. That&#8217;s likely to be a slow-moving system that winds up bigger than currently projected across the eastern part of the country. Right now, it&#8217;s a cold rain with an outside shot at a mix or some flakes. Something to watch for.<\/p>\n<p>Something else to watch for is the transition of the pattern as December wears on. The upper ridge across the northern part of the country is forecast to slowly get pushed northward into Canada. That allows for lower heights (more troughs) to undercut that ridge.
