Good evening, folks. A Winter Weather Advisory is out for much of central and western Kentucky for later tonight and early Sunday. This is in response to our storm system rolling across the region, bringing rain changing to snow.<\/p>\n

Look.. this storm has been talked about on the blog for well over a week. I can’t help what others told you would happen, but my thoughts on this simply have not changed at all.<\/p>\n

The wraparound snows will need to be watched closely tonight and early Sunday. A band of moderate to heavy snow will rotate across the region during this time. Where that sets up is still in question on the models, but I suspect it works from western Kentucky into central and northern parts of the state.<\/p>\n
