Hi everyone! It’s another hot one our there across Kentucky, but that looks like it will be changing over the next few days as we get a cold front to move into the area. After that… we focus our attention on the leftovers of Fay… uh… I mean the storm we no longer speak of.

I have all sorts of maps for you to check out. I finally have them set up so they will update everytime a new image comes in. Each time you check back with us… you will see updated radar and sat maps.




Here is a look at the stuff from the south that will turn our way in a few days.



Satellite shots show that some of the clouds from that storm in the south are actually making their way into Kentucky!

Scattered showers and storms will be with us from late Sunday into Monday. Locally heavy downpours will be possible in the tropical atmosphere.

Things may really get tropical here from Tuesday through Thursday with the leftovers of our tropical storm. The models are looking good right now for some much needed rains around here…

That would surely be a welcome sight!

Great extended discussion sat morning from the NWS in Jackson! Louisville decided to only look at one model run and take it as the gospel! Not good guys… especially when dealing with a tropical system when the models bounce around with tracks… especially the GFS. MUCH cooler weather is also in store for next week as well!!!

I will update again later this weekend so make sure you check back for that and to check out the latest radar and sat shots.
