I am pretty sure many of you are tired of talking about Tropical Storm Fay. But&#8230; the weather is soooo boring around here so I have to focus my weather nerdness toward something! <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/emoticons\/smile.png\" border=\"0\" \/><BR><BR>Fay is just about to move offshore into the Atlantic. Here is a radar view&#8230;<BR><BR><IMG style=\"WIDTH: 587px\" height=435 src=\"http:\/\/images.quickblogcast.com\/0\/4\/8\/0\/3\/139967-130840\/Tropics19.jpg\" width=640 border=0><BR><BR>Just how far will this storm get offshore before it slows down and heads back across the sunshine state? That will be the main story to track today. It doesn&#8217;t look like it will get more than a hundred or miles offshore before it turns around and heads toward Jacksonville&#8230; probably as a hurricane. Here is a look at the latest hurricane models&#8230;<BR><BR><BR><IMG style=\"WIDTH: 653px\" height=545 src=\"http:\/\/images.quickblogcast.com\/0\/4\/8\/0\/3\/139967-130840\/tropics_18.gif\" width=700 border=0><BR><BR>Fay will likey work SLOWLY back to the west through Friday. This will put down a tremendous amount of rain with parts of florida seeing well over a foot of rain.<BR><BR>Can it get back over gulf waters? Yep&#8230; that&#8217;s looking like a good possibility right now and it may try to head west toward the FL panhandle or even as far west as New Orelans.<BR><BR>After that&#8230; it will try to come our way.<BR><BR>In the short term&#8230; temps are going to heat up around here with some low 90s possible through the end of the week.<BR><BR>A front will move in over the weekend with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms and cooler temps.
