Heavy rain and a few thunderstorms are quickly increasing from south to north across the region. This may cause some local high water issues to develop tonight and early Wednesday. I&#8217;m a little surprised we don&#8217;t see more of the state under a Flood Watch. Only the far north is currently under the watch.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the forecast remains unchanged with a quick temperature drop from west to east on Wednesday. That means the rain changes to snow pretty fast and that carries us through Thursday on a strong northwesterly flow. Gusts could top 40mph or better on Wednesday with even higher gusts possible on Thursday.
