A few weeks ago, I mentioned how this pattern reminded me a little of the spring setup from 2007. That featured a very warm March with a disaster of a cold snap in early April that also featured some snow. Well, that&#8217;s exactly what I have in the forecast for this week.<\/p>\n<p>Today features a cold front dropping into the region with gusty winds and a few showers. Temps drop quickly behind this front and should take us back into the mid and upper 20s by Tuesday morning. There&#8217;s an outside chance of a snow flurry before skies clear overnight.<\/p>\n<p>The next system working in for the second half of the week is a monster. This is going to unleash, for the time of year, bitterly cold temperatures. The arrival of all this is likely to be announced by high winds and some showers and storms on Wednesday.
