We are FINALLY seeing a few showers and thunderstorms pressing into the region from the west. This action will pick up the pace just a bit tonight and Friday, but is it a sign of things to come? The overall setup continues to point toward much more action over the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s stuff looks fairly scattered early on, but the models do indicate a slight increase from west to east tonight and Friday. Highs will be back in the 70s for Saturday under a mix of sun and clouds. Readings could hit 80 by Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The setup for next week is one that can throw waves of showers and thunderstorms our way.
