Good Thursday, everyone. It’s another busy weather day taking shape across the bluegrass state. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms continue to press in ahead of a strong cold front. We’re keeping a close eye on the potential for severe weather and flooding rains.<\/p>\n

A strong cold front moves through the region this afternoon and evening. Strong to severe storms will be possible across much of the state. Damaging winds and large hail are the usual suspects. Additionally, heavy rainfall is a good bet and could cause flash flooding. Your trackers in a bit.<\/p>\n

Friday looks much better with temps in the low 70s and a fair amount of sunshine. Showers and storms will then return early Saturday as another front drops in. VERY chilly air comes in behind this with readings near 60 for highs this weekend. There is even the threat for frost Sunday and Monday mornings. Check out the cold numbers from the GFS…<\/p>\n
