Rounds of showers and thunderstorms have been common across Kentucky for the past 6 weeks. While they did take a brief break, they are back in the bluegrass and should stick around into the upcoming weekend. We are likely to see rounds of heavy rain that can increase the potential for flash flooding.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s storms will have a lot of juice to work with, and could put down some very heavy rains similar to what we saw\u00a0last evening. Local high water issues will be possible.\u00a0Track away&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=dlFZs5IY4VCw7bK\" width=\"560\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Temps will be a little cooler than yesterday, but should still hit the muggy low 80s for many.<\/p>\n<p>Friday looks like scattered storms will continue, with the greatest threat across the south. Please stay alert if you live in a flood prone area.<\/p>\n<p>Highs this weekend will be in the middle 70s, and it could get even cooler by early next week.
