Good Tuesday, everyone. We have an awesome brand of air blowing into the region over the next few days. This is going to give us a taste of September temperatures. Unfortunately, this isn’t going to stick around long as a blast of summer surges in for the weekend.<\/p>\n

There is a small chance for a shower or storm today as a front presses in from the north. Temps will be in the 70s.<\/p>\n

The air coming in behind this front is well below normal…<\/p>\n

Highs in the low 70s will be common under mostly sunny skies. Temps by Thursday morning may drop into the middle 40s in a few spots.<\/p>\n

Thursday is another great day with 80 in the west and 70s elsewhere.<\/p>\n

As the heat in plains fights toward the east on Friday, some scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible…<\/p>\n

The hot weather moves in over the weekend…<\/p>\n

Low 90s will be possible for both Saturday and Sunday with a small threat for a shower or thunderstorm.<\/p>\n

Instead of the heat locking in, thunderstorms crash the party early next week…<\/p>\n
