Good Wednesday, everyone. Today’s weather is about as nice as it can possible get around here during the summer months. It’s a blast of September temperatures that will carry us into Thursday. From there, steamy temps fight back in, but storms and cooler temps punch back.<\/p>\n

Highs today are into the low and middle 70s for much of the region. Humidity levels are low and the sun is high… go out and play.<\/p>\n

Upper 70s to low 80s will be with us on Friday with sunny skies continuing.<\/p>\n

As the heat and humidity moves back in for Friday, some scattered showers and storms may develop…<\/p>\n

Temps by Saturday may reach the low 90s for many areas with temps going well above normal…<\/p>\n

\"GFS<\/a><\/p>\n

Sunday has a shot at 90, though there is some doubt creeping into the picture courtesy of a backdoor cold front…<\/p>\n

A thunderstorm or two is possible on Sunday as cooler air invades from the north. The GFS has this cooler than normal air actually taking control again.<\/p>\n
