We are coming off a fantabulous weekend of weather across the bluegrass state. That&#8217;s been a far cry from what the rest of the month has given us, and appears to be a far cry from what&#8217;s ahead. Scattered storms get ready to return today, with a greater storm risk as the weak progresses.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned, today&#8217;s stuff is scattered in nature. Still, any storm can put down some locally heavy rains&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=9nNfA2mOMDiJ4LG\" width=\"560\" height=\"462\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Humidity levels keep increasing through the next several days, as seasonal temps from the upper 80s to low 90s settle in.<\/p>\n<p>The greatest storm risk may come on Thursday as a potent cold front drops in from the northwest&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=19387\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19387\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19387\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Canadian-2.png\" alt=\"Canadian\" width=\"326\" height=\"404\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Canadian-2.png 326w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Canadian-2-242x300.png 242w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 326px) 100vw, 326px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Severe weather is possible with that type of setup.<\/p>\n<p>The models check that front up across the region over the weekend. A few spells could be hotter than anything we&#8217;ve had in the past 3 summers. Of course, that isn&#8217;t saying too much considering how real deal heat has been largely absent since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Some fall and winter talk comes this week.
