Rounds of showers and thunderstorms continue to increase across the region, and these could cause some additional local high water issues. This is part of a very active pattern that throws more storms at us this weekend, ahead of a much cooler blast of air.<\/p>\n<p>The storms today may be on the strong side with local wind damage. The bigger threat comes from lightning and heavy rainfall.
