It&#8217;s all eyes on the weekend and the increased threat for scattered showers and thunderstorms. This action is ahead of a slow-moving cold front pulling into the region from the west. Let&#8217;s get after it.<\/p>\n<p>Today is a pretty good day with summertime temps hanging tough. Skies should be partly to mostly sunny with only a small, small pop up chance.<\/p>\n<p>Scattered storms increase from the west into Friday afternoon and evening as the weekend front draws closer. Of course, the models have been showing something similar for every week two period, only to have it disappear as we get closer.
