The calendar has finally caught up to the weather we&#8217;ve been having for the past several days as the 10th month begins. Much of the cool and, sometimes, damp has been courtesy of a big upper level low spinning across the region.<\/p>\n<p>This system is slowly moving away, but will still throw some scattered stuff our way over the next few days.<\/p>\n<p>Our Saturday starts with some dense fog and isolated showers across the land. We will see a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon with additional scattered showers and thunderstorms. Low-level moisture remains and that should be able to fire up some scattered showers. The future radar from the NAM is a little amped up&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=20075\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-20075\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20075\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/NAM-5.png\" alt=\"nam\" width=\"418\" height=\"474\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/NAM-5.png 418w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/NAM-5-265x300.png 265w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 418px) 100vw, 418px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Temps early next week rebound into the 70s with some pretty nice skies. That will carry us through the middle of the week before another cold front moves our way later Thursday or Friday. How all this plays our will be dictated by what happens with our MONSTER of a hurricane currently in the Caribbean. Mathew hit Cat 5 status last night&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goes.noaa.gov\/GIFS\/HUIR.JPG\" alt=\"Hurricane Infrared GOES East\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The latest forecast from the National Hurricane Center&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nhc.noaa.gov\/storm_graphics\/AT14\/refresh\/AL1416W5_NL+gif\/174837W5_NL_sm.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once into the Bahamas, we continue to find quite the disagreement on where this goes.
