Good Tuesday, folks. The overall weather pattern across the region is about to get much more active in the coming days. Given how calm it’s been of late, that wouldn’t be saying too much. \ud83d\ude42 Still, the pattern appears to be revving up as we head deeper into October and the change of seasons gets going.<\/p>\n

We have the first of several cold fronts arriving in here Wednesday night and early Thursday. This will likely spawn a gusty band of showers and isolated thunderstorms…<\/p>\n

Temps will mainly be in the 60s on Thursday, and could stay there on Friday as clouds increase ahead of the next system. This should be a shower maker from late Friday into Saturday…<\/p>\n

Neither of these systems look to offer up much rain.<\/p>\n

Another cold front quickly zips in here from the northwest on Sunday with an increase in, at least, scattered showers and thunderstorms. That carries us into early Monday…<\/p>\n

The cold fronts don’t end there, the models indicate another one moving in late Tuesday…<\/p>\n

And a few days later, we find another font with much colder air showing up behind it…<\/p>\n

We are getting into the\u00a0second severe weather season, and several of my analog years got a little frisky this time of year. Guess we shall see if we can get anything cranking in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
