Good Thursday, everyone. Many areas are waking up to frost and, in a few cases, freezing temperatures. This is a sign of things to come as we have a hard freeze on the way for the coming weekend. That’s when our temperatures should be able to drop fairly deep into the 20s.<\/p>\n

Highs today will be near 60 in the west with mid to upper 50s elsewhere. Skies stay sunny.<\/p>\n

Veterans Day looks very windy, but nice with 30s to start and upper 50s for highs. Those winds are ahead of a push of colder air for the weekend. Lows by Saturday morning drop into the upper 20s into central and northern Kentucky…<\/p>\n

Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 40s in the east to the mid 50s in the far west. A widespread freeze takes place Saturday night into Sunday morning…<\/p>\n

This is where we find a disturbance in the weather force. The Canadian and European Models both develop a small cutoff low across the region later Sunday into Monday. This could produce some clouds and scattered showers, and keep temps on the pretty chilly side of things.<\/p>\n

There’s a chance that system starts showing up a little stronger on the models in the next few days.<\/p>\n

A much bigger storm will roll across the country by the end of next week and I will talk more about that system later today.<\/p>\n
