Thanksgiving eve is upon us and rain is rolling across the state. It&#8217;s not the heaviest rain in the world, but we will take what we can get. It&#8217;s obviously coming at a bad time for holiday travelers, and kicks off a busy pattern.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start things out by tracking the evening rains&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=9nNfA2mOMDiJ4LG\" width=\"560\" height=\"462\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thanksgiving Day will feature a lot of clouds around with a shower chance in the central and east. Those clouds will linger into Black Friday with upper 40s to low 50s for many areas.<\/p>\n<p>A weak front drops in here Friday evening with gusty winds, but no precipitation. This sets the stage for some more clouds and a seasonal chill for Saturday. There is some indication northeastern Kentucky may struggle to get much past 40 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>A BIG storm system is going to crank across the plains states and should send heavy rain and wind our way by Monday and Tuesday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=20780\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-20780\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20780\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Euro-23.png\" alt=\"euro\" width=\"1143\" height=\"947\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Euro-23.png 1143w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Euro-23-300x249.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Euro-23-768x636.png 768w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Euro-23-1024x848.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1143px) 100vw, 1143px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That system is impressive and one we will need to keep a close eye on. High winds and local high water issues are possible across the region.<\/p>\n<p>As that storm wraps up, another will come under it by Wednesday. That&#8217;s the last day of November and it could take on more of a winter look.
