The arctic air is diving into the region from the northwest and will take control of our pattern over the next few days.<\/p>\n<p>The short term models are coming in brutally cold for the Ohio Valley tonight. They seem to be picking up on the snowpack and how that influences the temps downstream. Even if temps are a little above freezing, I&#8217;ve seen similar situations result in some icy roads.<\/p>\n<p>The temps rise all night Friday into Saturday and should hit the low 60s. Thunder and lightning will be possible before the arctic air moves back in.
