The weather over our Christmas weekend continues to look well behaved with rain and milder temperatures dominating. The pattern into next week continues to take a turn toward more winter on the models.<\/p>\n<p>You know all about the weekend&#8230; blah, blah blah. Let&#8217;s focus on what comes behind that next week.<\/p>\n<p>We are likely to see another storm system rolling across the region. Watch\u00a0 the blocking going up near Alaska and how it tries to hook up with a block coming across Greenland&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/?attachment_id=21417\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-21417\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21417\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/GFS-ANIMATION-6.gif\" alt=\"gfs-animation-6\" width=\"1024\" height=\"638\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That would force a deep trough with arctic air to take over much of the country. But is that setup correct?
